onecrf
Hey guys, have a hairy one for you. Changed engine from an ea82t to an ea81. Both ignition systems where fine before change. Because the wiring blocks and wire colours where different from coil(ea82) to distibutor(ea81) i had to mix and match. So what i have is the car almost starting but not quite, its firing.I only have one wire connected from coil to distributor, this seems to be the only one that delivers any spark. Anyone know if i need to have the whole block of four wires connected to deliver a strong enough spark? Any other general ideas much appreciated. archemitis
yes! you need one of each wires coming off the distrubutor, hooked to the coil. red+ yellow-. also you need the power wire goin to the coil, and the other yellow wire is for you tachometer. gotta have a complete circuit.
