slosube
Does anyone know where the ground connection for the instrument panel on my '85 GL wagon is? All my warning lights are always on. Sometimes they are dim, other times very bright, indicating a bad ground for this circuit. I'd like to correct this without tearing the whole dash apart if possible. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

slosube
Good thought. Problem is that the lights have been like this for several years. I'm just getting around to fixing it! I'll check the alternator output. I've never had to charge the battery and the car sits unused for months at a time. Seems like alternator failures usually don't take that long to become a real problem. Thanks!
