mcbrat
will a ea81 radiator mount into a 87 wagon? maybe with a little tweaking? thanks
archemitis
i believe it would, i run an ea82 radiator in my ea81 hatch, and all i did was redrill holes, you could redrill the bottom rubber mount holes too. im pretty sure it'll fit with a bit of drilling. i like the ea81s, they hold more fluid
mcbrat
plus I'll be using ea81 electrical fans, and they'll fit nicely on it
Will Smith
the filler neck will be under a part of the core support. I assume you could trim to fit.

mcbrat
piece 'o cake..... drilled 2 small holes (19" centers) and screwed in some plastic plugs I had. put the ea81 rad in, and had to bend up the support lip, to fit the rad under it, then drilled some new holes in the support and bolted the rad up just perfect there is enough clearance that I didn't need to cut away anything for the rad cap, though it is partially hidden. plenty of room to take it off since it sits low.
