bella Posted November 3, 2004 Share Posted November 3, 2004 I own a Subaru 4wd, 1986, EA 82, 215k km, and I want to now some information’s: -what kind of engine oil should I use (10 W 40), void and transmission oil? -my car is a Leone or loyale (JF1AC5BL0CD622389-ID. NUMBER)? -why I cannot drive with more than 130 km/h? -why I don't fill the power of the 1800cc and 66 KW? -my oil have 6.000 KM(Valvoline 10 W 40) and in the morning when I start the engine after I torn off the manual shock and my tachometer indicate 300-400 rpm for a second after I turn off the shook my oil and temperature lights are blinking. rallyruss Posted November 3, 2004 Share Posted November 3, 2004 10/40 should be fine as for the lack of power and top speed thats not unusual subes dont go real fast. you may have a probelm somewhere that is holding you back but I cannot guess at it. I dont completely understand the last question but I will try. so you are afraid you have low oil pressure because the light comes on? then you need to chech it with a good gauge. welcome Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Danbob99 Posted November 3, 2004 Share Posted November 3, 2004 I'll take a stab at the last one...if the engines down as low as 300-400 rpm when he turns off his air struts, the engine is dying, they may flash as the engine lopes at such low idle. I'd want to know why the engine drops rpm so drasticly becuase the air struts get turned off.... and i'm not sure, what the conversion to mph from kmh? avg top speed on a stock loyale? 80-90 ish?
