benking Posted November 9, 2004 Share Posted November 9, 2004 does anyone know where the transmission fluid dipstick is on a 2000 subaru legacy gt limited....i can't find it...the manual says it is to the left of the air filter but i can't find where it is located...any help would be greatly appreciated. brus brother Posted November 9, 2004 Share Posted November 9, 2004 Transmission dip stick is behind the engine in front of driver side firewall. Move a few hoses out of the way, look down and you'll see it has a yellow top. Other side (passenger) lower down yet, again move a few hoses aside, yellow top handle, you'll find the shorter differential dip stick.
