The Dude
Do a compression check on the cylinders. It's easy, cheap, and might point you in the right direction.
northguy
Sometimes it's the easy things we overlook. Since the plugs are in a tough area to reach, you might check to make certain the plug wires are firmly clipped on to the plugs. I've seen people who pushed the rubber boot on, but the metal end of the plug wire wasn't over the end of the plug.
Adnan
Hi, How about the ignitor? Those do seem to go bad at times. You'd think that an error code would be set for two cylinders as the ignitor is shared, but maybe the computer registers the first one only. I would check the compression first, as has been suggested. Regards, Adnan
