rwaterhouse
So now I have the lifters quiet I notice that I am leaking a fair amount of coolant. It's hard to see where it's coming from but it appears to be from the bottom of the waterpump. Doesn't appear to be from the weep hole, but further back. Car has 200K km, so I should probably replace the waterpump right? Or am I missing something else common to these cars? ShawnW
Probably the gasket itself leaking, or its possible. Also, but not as likely the lines above the timing belt covers are leaking down thru.
jazzician
Yah, I was experiencing the same thing with the waterpump with my 89 GL10 at 200,000 so I replaced it as it was the issue. Simon
dustyrider
could be loose water pump bolts, too.
