WJM Posted November 15, 2004 Share Posted November 15, 2004 So...WOT accell, in 3rd gear only...and ONLY when its cold out, 40 deg or less... Gets to the 3k to 5k range...and randomly in that range in 3rd gearpull...fuel/ignition cut for about 1/4 of a second. Any ideas? Mods: cone on the MAF, stock dia exhaust with gutted cats and cherry bomb. The rest is stock...but its stright up waste gate and not hooked up to the factory boost controller. JWX Posted November 15, 2004 Share Posted November 15, 2004 mine doesn't, I did a third gear pull and it pulled clean to redline. now it did do something odd I went to shift into first and it stumbled, not sure if it was a fuel/ing cut or the BOV. but it hasn't done it since. That should show you that EA82Ts are tough as nails....thats a FACTORY engine...never been cracked into.
