charlierh2
So how many people here are interested in a 7 passenger subaru? Is this gonna be another Baja or is this gonna get the popularity of an Outback? i dont know very much about it so just wondering what others have read. im assuming this would have a 3.0 H6, unless subaru is adding another engine to there linup. so pretty much whats your oppinion on the car theres a little info on www.subaru.com but nothing extensive. Sawiesue
I'm a Subaru salesperson who went to a meeting on the B9X on Friday. The "B" stands for boxer, the "9" is the series, the "X" means crossover. It will use the same 6-cyl engine that is in the LLBean Outback. New grill. all of them will have the VDC as standard. Starting at $30,000 (5 passenger model, backseat available for additional $...All the way up to $37,000 for a top of the line (navigational system, DVD..the works). It appears to be a great vehicle...the grill is VERY different!!! I hope you don't mind the info coming from a salesperson. I will keep the boards updated if you don't mind. Sawiesue
ive heard a lot about people wanting 2 position memory seats in there 05 legacys is that coming with the b9x? I don't know, but will find out for you...(I do know that has been an issue with the new Legacy's). Subaru wants to market themselves as a "premier automobile". They have an exceptional product, now they have to (in my opinion) include the things that the other premier auto's have...

GLCraig
If it comes with VDC I'm not buying it.
mtsmiths
Mr. Insider, if it comes with that gawdawful Edsel/neo-Bugatti grille *I'm* definately not buying it! Never mind that the rest of the car looks like a running shoe. And this comes from one who bought their first Subaru in 1981, and currently own numbers five and six. If this is the styling direction the marque is taking, it's sayanora from the mtsmiths.

carfreak85
This car better not look anything like the latest subaru concept cars, otherwise I will not be buying a new subaru for quite a while. EDIT: I saw the concept drawing, and this is the most disgusting looking subaru I've ever seen! And the B9X? Are we turning into Acrua now? I buy subarus so that I dont have to deal with that alphanumeric BS.
sasquatch
That 3 litre 6 seriously underwhelms me....I'll await judgement but will likely end up with the '05 Forrester XT next year.
GLCraig
I wish subaru would sell this model in the US. I come with the H6 and a 6-speed manual gearbox. http://subaru.com.au/explore/liberty/specifications.asp?item=23531
