ShawnW
Spray rust penetranton the nuts on the fender parts of the bumper. Even on the most rust free of Brats I have had trouble with these. Otherwise the 4 14MM head bolts are easy.
TheSubaruJunkie
There are 4 14mm bolts that hold the bumper to the frame, and then there are some small 10mm bolts on either side of the fenders to hold the bumper ends onto the fender. Not long at all to remove. If your bolts arent rusted it shouldnt take longer than 20min to remove the bumper. Although most the bumpers ive removed ive ended up fighting with the bolts for an hour or so. Those bolts see the worse amount of weather, and are usually stuck. -Brian
BobBrumby
dont remove the mounts from the sub frames and just unscrew the 4 10mm bolts and 2 10mm nuts on the vertical part of the bumper. there are also like a 2 10mm bolt that hold tips onto the 1/4 pannel. other than the oil and dont remove the mounts unless they are damaged, as they have a bit of adjustment in them and is a bit of a beech setting it up so only do if its absolutly nessacerry.
