GLCraig
I can't decide what direction to go with my 84 GL. Keep it relitive stock for rallycross or lift it?
Ross
I can't decide what direction to go with my 84 GL. Keep it relitive stock for rallycross or lift it? Fun either way! I have refrained from lifting mine, as i like the way it corners in the gravel too much, and i find it has enough ground clearance to get through most tracks i come across. Ratty2Austin
lifting it doesnt make it roll out in corners :-P I have cornerd my lifeted monsterwagon without its sway bars in, and it still hasnt left the ground!!! (it fishtails though!)
Qman
After the last rollover ORG WILL NOT allow a lifted rig to run. It's simply a matter of preference. What do you do more of, Rallying or 4Xing?
richierich
With the new tranny in the Legacy you should be able to rally-x that. Leaving the GL for a lift kit, etc.
edrach
Wait until after the ORG meeting this coming Wednesday (discussion of rule changes) because you might have the opportunity to run in a new Truck/SUV class with your wagon which would allow modifications not available in Production. In no event would I lift the car if you plan to rallycross it. I can't decide what direction to go with my 84 GL. Keep it relitive stock for rallycross or lift it?
