Jibs
Sorry I've been holding out, I wasn't gonna post any pics until I had it kinda complete, but I was talked into it by a friend. (You know who you are:) ) Its all right though, I needed to get this out there. As far as I know - this is the first lifted subaru in Nevada. I could be wrong, but I couldn't find any other documentration, so I'm throwin it out there. Ozified - how many kits have you sold up here to Nevada? Anyway, here goes: Before Shot: OK with 4" BYB Lift Kit: Here's a Pic of the tire I used: Its a Super Swamper TSL 28x8.5 mounted on 14" Chrome 6 lug wheels. You can see the stock tire holding it up there. Thanks to all who helped me - Jeremy, Brian, Shawn, Scott - I appreciate all the help you've given me in this project. Jibs
And here's pics of Our First Run: Leaving the Yard: Here I am in a small Creek bed: This is where we wheel at, it's right out in our backyards literally: And here's the difference in a 4" lifted Brat and a stock 84 wagon: Ok that's about it, you can check out all my pics at: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=3967 Thanks guys for the support. Hope you enjoy these pics.
singletrack
Bah, send it to the wrecker and get a Ford. Just kidding of course. Looks SWEET on chrome rims. So if high-performance stickers are worth 50-60 hp, a dog in the back must mean an extra 10 inches of flex, right?
northguy
You must have had experience with the before and after pictures for those diet plan commercials. Looks great.
mudrat79
It's Still lacking something......???? Oh I know ......A set of Nice Tube bumpers....... Looks Good.....It Always amazes me what a set of good tires and Sexy rims will do for a Ride........ Later, John
Jibs
Yeah, mudrat, bumpers are next. The front bumper on this one is held on by wire on the passenger side, so I definitely need a bumper.
Qman
Very nice start. I will suggest that you trim the bottom of the front fenders though. Look through the Hatch Patrol website and you'll get the idea what needs to be cut. It will save the buckling effects of hitting the bottom of the fender on obsticles. Jibs
Yeah it looks kinda funny, huh? Should I do it to the rear as well? The rear is way rusty at the same area as I see in the fronts.
Qman
There isn't as much benefit for the rear. If there is significant rust "Bobbing" might be an alternative. There are some pics Of "Bob" the Brat on the site as well.
