The old school Subarus in Austria

Hi!

 

Today I want to show you the Subarus that were sold in the 80s and 90s

in Austria/Europe.

 

Look at the small ones:

 

It all began with the Subaru Rex 700, nerarly the same as a Suzuki Alto, but 4WD:

The next one, even a little bigger, the Subaru Vivio 1.0 4WD:

Those Libero's are so cool!!! I dont like mini-vans but I would definately drive one of those!!

 

I hope I am not the only one who feels this way but alot of the time I feel us US ppl get the shaft on the imported vehicles...some of the best models are stopped here before they are stopped other places (example the Brat). But most ppl I know want big obnoxous cars that suck up too much gas tat go really fast and forget about funtionality....I will keep my small,old underpowered Loyale anyday over a big gas hog.

Those Libero's are so cool!!! I dont like mini-vans but I would definately drive one of those!!

It's got a lot to do with the tariffs put in place in order to protect the domestic market, something like 30 percent. Yeah free trade.
