B9X?? Not us. Not Subaru!!!!

Recommended Posts

I guess it was only a matter of time before EVEN Subaru couldn't escape market forces and offer a SUV. At least they kept the boxer engine. I thought I saw it all with Volvo. And then the Porsche/VW. Who's left now? Jaguar?

Why couldn't Subaru talk VW into releasing thet MicroBus in the US with a boxer engine instead of this B9X?

I would buy that!

I need more seats than 5 for the family, but not real keen on the design of the B9X (I think it's the first "ugly" Subau I've seen). :-\

I would like to see a super Subaru product, for 32k they have built the STi and it whoops most things under 60k and many over that. Imagine if they hit a target retail price of about 60k. I could see a flat 8Cyl, turbo, mid engine with composite body. I would be camped out at the dealership the night before it was delivered.

You're right. I saw some photos for the 2007 due Z-Type. Well, Lamborghini*already did one back in the 80s, so that leaves who? Ferrari? And Harley Davidson.

There's are Harley Davidson edition of the Ford F-150. Does that count?

BTW, the 2005 Outback Wagon is clasified as a light truck, making it a SUV.

The Microbus Idea sounds cool!

In the past twenty years, our dependance on foreign oil has gone from thirty to sixty percent. SUVs take 25 percent of total sales.

I'm disheartened by the Hummer mentality.

I bought my OB cause it gets reasonably good mileage and I live in the NE winter for half the year.
