richierich
Looking to take the tires and wheels off of the 79 before I get rid of it. Will wheels off of a 84 Subaru work? I remember my sisters 79 GF and something scraping on the back when it had newer style spare tire put on the back.
Flowmastered87GL
Dunno if it helps, but the EA82 wagon wheels I have my rally tires on scraped on the rear of Jason's 76 4WD wagon I belive they didnt have enough offset and the rear of the rim scraped on the trailing arm. So you need rims with enough offset like calmasters or some older rims I think. Not sure if EA81 ones fit or not...
ShawnW
All the alloys should be okay. All of them should be okay on front wheels and I think the ea82 wheels rub but the ea81 steel wheels dont on the 80 and older models.

bajavwnsoobnut
gen 2 wagon wheels and steelys will work but Shawn the alloys except for a few alot of them don't work trust me when I test fitted those gen 3 wagon wheels on they scraped then tryed Edrachs street hakki's with the rally alloys (the one with the small oval holes) they bound up too but still the steel wheels from a gen 2 should work Richie heck you shoulda called me cause I knew the answer and you hafta remember that after that incedent I came over to test fit those wheels you have to make sure they would work with the trailing arm
richierich
Don't really want to get alloys way with it, if I am going to lower the price. So ea81 steel wheel should work? I guess I will try it tomorrow, and let you know.
