BOV sounds and video thread

Recommended Posts

Well, I tried to make a short video anyways. It was freezing cold outside and the windows were rolled up. My son tried to record but he squirms around a lot and I kept hearing moving background noise. Kids! I could've made a longer video but it would take that much longer to download. Other videos the BOV was whistling a little louder but lots of other noise was in the background as well. I'll try to get a video of the BOV venting with the windows down in the future.

Anyway, here's a short clip of how the Blitz Bov may sound on your car if you have it vented to the atmosphere.

Edit: Ok, the BOV still isn't hooked up right. Will get on it again.

Re-Edit: BOV is hooked up right this time. Video here!

how did the ECU handle it? Did it still seem like it hesitated after shifting? Me wanna know when I put mine on....well crap, won't really care once I get the MS and EDIS on there......:D *gets ready to put a rubber glove on*..

The ECU handled it fine. No hesitation what so ever. However, RallyRuss pointed out to me via PM that I don't have it hooked up properly and it should blow off with more force and be louder. He also stated that it will perform better between shifts. I'm not concerned for the louder sound but performance would be a plus. So, I'll address it and make another vid if it actually gets louder or what not.
