Myxalplyx
Has anyone here noticed a difference in power/torque after they replace the piping pre-turbo with another pipe? If so, what diameter piping you changed to and what change did you noticed? It doesn't look restrictive but it is 'mashed' slightly where the piping is closest to the turbo. I now many have changed the air filter. It's the piping that I'm interested in. Also, what is the purpose of the plastic 'handle bar' on the intake? I'm assuming it has to do with affecting sound waves coming from the throttle body not affecting the maf sensor readings but if that's the case, the turbo itself should affect the sound resonance. :-\
calebz
I don't imagine that the pipe is any more restrictive than the airbox itself, or the MAF for that matter. The 'handlebar' thing is a noise break of sorts. Its also a great place for the plumbing of a recirculating type BOV

Wouldn't that change the 'noise breaker' to a 'noise enhancer' though? *PFFFfffffttt*
