TROGDOR!
My good friend James needs one as well. If two people happen to turn up with one, put us next in line. Need a belt tensioner as well.
Caboobaroo
if I can get to the junkyard sometime soon so I can pull my 5-lug crap, I'll see if the XT6 has a pulley...or a motor for that reason! Maybe I'll get the whole car and part it....hmmm I have no room....guess I'll have to make some:D
archemitis
how could i get one off at the junkyard? theres one with no tranny, and no clutch/flywheel. i tried to get it off and it just spun, even with a hammer. i guess i could fill up a cyliinder with rope, and send it to you. hopefully i can get there tomorrow. got any cool er27 stuff to trade for it? =] like an air cleaner adapter. i was thinkin about switchin to a v belt for this very reason, it seems kinda common. subarubrat
I will happily buy you an adapter plus cone filter and send it to you. That is no problem. I need this pulley bad, we are about to get into the snow season. Let me know!

operose
man this happens all the time... happened to me, too. I welded a freaking metal bar across it and that fixed the problem!... I just bought a legacy wagon and noticed that it has the same setup.. hope it doesn't happen to me again, that was a pain in the arse!
archemitis
ya, i think id be inclined to weld it the first time it happens to me, but i like welding... alot! =]

archemitis
its runnin, so i aint touchin it. i wanna v belt it, since all i have is the water pump and alt. but the rubber damper thingy is more high tech, maybe thats why the timing belts dont fry as often on the big six... maybe
DerFahrer
A whole bunch of these ER27 crank pullies are falling apart lately. Hope it didn't go inwards toward the engine and trash everything in sight.

kingbobdole
I've lost 3 now, one in, trashed the main front cover, and T belts. One went out and rubbed on the fans. The last one I dropped:banghead: Now I have a light weight one I got from David at Proecm. Its a single piece, so it cannot fall apart. The point was that they can go in and trash EVERYTHING
operose
luckily, mine didn't go anywhere... just spun... a lot.. and I drove it for like... a week, trying to diagnose my charging problems, as it was apparently catching enough to turn it... man.. in retrospect, that's REALLY lucky
