MadMatt Posted December 28, 2004 Share Posted December 28, 2004 Got an '86 GL with the electronically controlled carb...the secondary barrel does not work when needed (under load) and does not act like it's plugged...is there a solenoid or switch that is not working on this carb? MadMatt Posted December 31, 2004 Author Share Posted December 31, 2004 this is a DCP306-24 carb...it has no hose connected to the vacuum actuator, it is a sealed unit bolted to the carb...vacuum is created by a spring/ball system to the diaphragm, both which are in remarkable condition...nope, vacuum lines are not the problem here.
