Cougar
My '88 FSM shows a 'fuel pump relay' in a blue socket that should be near the steering column, under the dash. I assume they are one and the same.

Subi81
That is funny my 87 fsm says that there are two boost sensors in the engine compartment next to the injector resistor block, one sensor is overboost and the other is above atmospheric. I know this is totally wrong, my brothers 87 didn't have two sensors. Weird? All I can find for relays are ign relay and fuel pump relay.
ballitch
was your brother's car turbo?
Skip
not wanting to put a poo poo on this quest for the holy grail of fuel cuts but the application chart on the original picture shows it is also for the DL model. As far as I know - no DL were equiped with a turbo. Could this item be the device that shuts off the fuel pump in the event of a crash? BTW the 89 FSM shows this devise in use ONLY on automatic shoulder belt models

WJM
Ive noticed that the EPC lists ALL subies of the era when something fits a turbo or 4wd or 4wd-turbo car. Still...i hope to find it.
