suberdave
we were on our way home, going up a large hill i had it in 4th gear about 1/2 throtle. when we got to the top of the hill... my wife said "do you smell that it smells like pancakes." "smells like IHOP" i said no i smells like burning coolant, I was able to make it to a lighted parking lot before i got even close to the RED. the coolant line from the throtle body to the heater hose pipe, blew out like an M80 went off inside it. i was able to monkey rig it and get home. but now my new subaru has a Name "IHOP" -=SUBERDAVE=- www.suberdave.com

I'd get tossed off the board... it changes with the level of frustration... one thing is for sure... he always incorporates the words, "lemon" and "yellow" into the phrase

Bucky92
The story of how Bucky got his name is kinda wierd. Started with my Toyota truck..was called Finiky Fikus named after a real character we knew, a goofy finiky guy.My truck was aweful..worst vehicle I owned next to my Taurus. When the truck died in VA with a broken crank it wasnt worth fixing so I left it there to finish rusting in pieces (it was an 82 BTW). I had been drooling over this white Loyale wagon for 3 months prior, saying I wanted that for my winter car but couldnt afford it ($1295 on the window). Well I called the dealer up and asked what the best he could do on it since I was carless. He remembered me (bought 2 other cars from him in the past...one being my Justy) and gave me the frequent customer discount:grin: Got this white Loyale for $600...Got this baby home and my friend said it since it replaced Fikus it should be still named after the original person who's first name was Bucky.I didnt like it at first but it just stuck.Within a week everyone was calling it Bucky (not cause it ran rough or bucked and carried on..cause he ran sweet from day 1). So thats ,in a nutshell, how mine got its name.
