I was kinda thinking about putting an EA82 in my wagon but I would have to make an adapter.... hmmmm too bad you don't live on the west coast cause I would sooo buy your Firebird. Dr. RX Posted August 20, 2003 Share Posted August 20, 2003 Shawn is correct, and there are suppose to be adapters out there, they are just very hard to get ahold of. I have put an EJ20G(turbo) engine and tranny into an 87 RX 3dr (UltimateRX). I also believe that there are about 3 or 4 EJ20G conversions into EA82 series cars running around Australia. As far as a D/R in an EJ series tranny, there is suppose to be such a thing, but I haven't seen one yet, but if anyone can get a part number for one, let me know, I do have a Japanese source.
