Sorry miss read this. Ok, this artical explains how to make a 3.70 into a 3.90, Is it possible to turn a 3.9 into a 3.7? ballitch Posted January 14, 2005 Share Posted January 14, 2005 sorry to burst your bubble, but unless you are traveling at aobut 20 mph or more a vlsd is not much more help than a regular old open-diff, I have to use the go pedal like a madman around corners in my 98 legacy, understeer insues and about 3/4 thru the turn the vlsd kicks in, WAY TO LATE. you have to wait for the fluid to heat up enough to put a decent load on the diff. by then its time has come and gone, but not true for all-wheel-drive parking lot drifting, works wonders when you are always on the gas.
