Rescue Wagon
Just picked up a 93 Legacy Wagon LS for a commuter car. I have owned it for a whole 4 days and I am already looking to upgrade it. So I have been looking but I cant find any type of upgrade kits for this body. Can newer legacy or outback body parts be used? Any help would be appreciated. Here is a car I found that I was wanting to use as a bases. Check the link below. http://jprova.co.jp/product/aero/aeroBG_BC.html James
Legacy777
There's not much stuff out there specifically for the first gen legacies, however mechanical stuff from newer models can sometimes be swapped over. What kind of stuff are you looking to upgrade? Feel free to check out my site, and what I've done with my legacy, as well as www.bbs.legacycentral.org

Love the car just not Hot on the stock look. There are few vendors that sell turbo kits if you want to go that route. Other option is to swap in a turbo motor from another turbo subaru. You're better off getting AGX struts then putting WRX struts on. Wheels, there's actually quite a bit out there now. Anything for the WRX should fit. I wouldn't really recommend going larger then 17, and would probably recommend going with 16" Wheels definitely and dramatically change the appearence of the car. You can swap a turbo hood over from a 92-94 turbo legacy. The 91's are different. You won't find much if anything in terms of bumpers
edrach
I understand WRX disk brakes can be retrofitted if you find someone with a WRX who's gone to performance brakes and has a used set left over that he's willing to sell (not likely a chance to be given a used set). coloradosubarules
Check Ebay for wheels. Just remember that the STi and SVT wheels will NOT fit on the legacys. Pretty much all other newer roo wheels will fit. Your legacy will take 5x100 wheel pattern. Check the offset. Josh knows the answer. You live in ColoROOdo...Every other car is a Subaru. I miss colorado (as a tear rolls down my face). Someday I am moving back to Lakewood....someday.
