ShawnW
Im going to be looking for a way to ship a ground effects kit. Has anybody here done it before? Im talking about one from an 88 RX and its going from CO to WA for Danbob. Im concerned about the overall length but was considering making a box with 2x4's if necessary. xtlover
I almost bought one for an xt, easiest and cheapest way to ship is by greyhound. I wouldnt make it any heavier then it needs to be, unless shipping charges are not a issue, Wrap them nicely and pack the box with newspaper and foam peanuts till it can barely move around. nkx
if youre going to ship it via truck freight, make sure you have a sturdy outer frame. forklifts damage things very easily. pack it with bubble wrap and styrofoam, and make sure that its clearly marked that the contents are fragile.
