EA82 turbo to a EA81

The reason I ask, I might have a line on a pair of EA8T cars. A wagon with a nice body with a bad motor, not sure what's wrong with it, I didn't talk to the guy that long and a 3dr coupe with a good motor and a rusted out body. He got the cars, planning on doing a swap and selling the wagon. But he hasn't had the time to do it.

Then would rebuilding the bad engine, maybe with some cams and such and then installing that in the Brat be a better option? Depending what the problem is with the motor.

not sure.. your last post said you had a line on a couple "EA8T" Cars, so I just took a shot in the dar..lol

yes, EA82T can be done as well.. more work.. But probably more fun as an end result.

Sorry for typo, both cars are EA82T's

Would an EA82T engine work with the Brat transmission? Or would I need to get a different transmission?
It will bolt right up. Just use the clutch disk and throw-out bearing of the trans and the preasure plate and flywheel of the EA82 engine.
