subaru_styles
i was trying to ask the same Q months ago...just want to know if they're beefy-er or not
quattroPilot
as I understand, XT6 rear axles are of the LSD variety... but not sure what gearing, i.e. 3.70 or 3.90 also not sure if they're any "beefier", but 4wd Subie rearends are pretty bulletproof in the first place so..... hth

They dont LOOK any better but looks can be different than reality. I guess if anything they will just be some trail parts
carfreak85
The axles are stronger IIRC and the differential is the same as other subes.
MorganM
The axles are stronger IIRC and the differential is the same as other subes. Just the fronts? Or rear and front? Cuz the fronts look beefy compared to normal EA82 axles. Rears look the same. Maybe previouse owner had rears replaced with cheaper EA82 rear axle? operose
fronts might have a different spline count... don't remember. I do remember reading about it in a post around here somewhere though... and on the LSD in XT6 comment... very few xt6's are equipped with an LSD, most of the people over at xt6.net have never even seen one
