monstaru
your stock rims are most likely 13 inchers.you either need to source some pug rims , buy some stock 14 inchers from oz, or do a six lug converson and run 14 or 15 inch rims.........and yes ,people have gone as big as 33 inchers with the proper lift and other accompaniments. Snowman
Here's a good thread discussion tire options: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=24979&highlight=tire+write-up Yes, you will have to get larger rims. They don't make tires much larger than stock size for 13" rims, and nothing that would be considered an "offroad" tire.
northguy
Watch the marketplace. Some deals pop up from time to time.

Vanislru
IMHO forget pug rims and drill your hubs for six bolt rims it's easy to do, read the tire write up at the top of the Offroad page there's a link on how to do it. 15"x7" rims open up a whole world of tire choices. beastbikes
wow those look really sweet, and i think that drilling the hubs is a better idea and I will probably be just wheeling the wagon once I lift it. I have 3 gl wagons now 86, 87, and an
Qman
Being new as you are I would really suggest reading through the Frequently Asked Question section. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=24980 It will help to answer most if not all of your questions. It was written by a very knowledgable Subaru Offroader.
northguy
You may want to look at tire size first so you can decide on lift size and how much fender wall modification you'll have to do to accomodate the new tires.
