Mr. Carb
I replaced the turbo unit last night that I got from Corkey. Thanks Corkey! It was a sucess, doesn't leak anything what so ever. Found a screw stuck in the exhaust turbine on the turbocharger that was in there. (woops) I'm thinking about hauling the car off to Smart Service in Lake forest park to handle the emissions problem, at most they can waver it. Only 2 other things left to do to that car, 1. fix the tranny leak, 2. patch the hole in the rear exhaust pipe. I can't wait to get it out on the road. As far as the emissions goes, it passes Idle now, but still runs to much CO(%) at cruise (1800 rpms - 2500rpms) Any ideas? obvious things have been done, replaced: spark plugs, plug wires, disturbuter cap and roter, air filter, and O2 sensor. thankyou everyone for all the wonderful help this board has given me.
