Roobaflu
I brought home my first subaru yesterday, an 85 2wd GL hatch, auto trans. And I just bought a parts car on ebay, an 85 4wd wagon, it will be delivered on saturday :] so here I am, had my car less than a day and I'm already getting parts together for a 5sp 4wd swap
84gl
you do know thats a ea82 and your hatch is a ea81?
thealleyboy
Sounds like a couple of good scores!! Hope to get a chance to see them one of these days. You've got lots of good resources in the area for whatever you end up doing, so don't hesistate to ask if you need something. Good Luck, John
Roobaflu
yeah I know its an ea82 and mines an ea81, I'm going to use the tranny shifter, pedal box, and differential from the wagon, then trade the wagon axles and suspension for ea81 stuff :]
Qman
I am not sure the pedal box will go in without modification. I believe there was something different besides the clutch cable. Unfortunately, I can't remember what it is.
MilesFox
i know the front half that bolts to the brake booster is the same pattern. but the top on an ea82 is longer. so it may need modded or the holes slotted on top, or some cutting. but an ea82 pedal box is better than no pedal box:)
Hondasucks
You might be able to trade the pedal box for an EA81 pedal box.....
