norsksub
Hi there. New member signing in. I'm a Norwegian guy with limited knowledge of the english language, so bear over with me, please. My old '87 1.8 gl wagon is again running thank's to the help an guides i found in these forums! Left timingbelt broke while driving - the local Subaru dealer told me of a possible massive engine breakdown! You guys in here told me othervise - so new belt is in and the old girl is ticking allong happily again. Coming back for more if I may - ticking from lifters are under treatment by advice from other members (none mentioned - none forgotten). And carb adjustment will be next. Again - thank's a lot friends and happy motoring!
MilesFox
funny how a subaru dealer would tell you your motor was broken over a timing belt, they should know that an 87 has an ea82 and its a non interference engine unlike the newer modelsanyway welcome!
