Sweet82 Posted February 3, 2005 Share Posted February 3, 2005 I was looking at putting a second radiator fan in the buggy and I noticed that if I used a second "stock" fan, I'd be hitting the front crank pulley with the fan housing Is there room for a second fan in a stock EA-81 setup? or must you move something or mount it differently than a stock type mount? I thought I mounted the radiator the same distance away from the motor in the Buggy as the stock Hatch setup? Any dual fan folks run into this? MorganM Posted February 4, 2005 Share Posted February 4, 2005 Might just have to go with a different fan. They make really low profile ones. Have you looked at the EA82 electric fans? Wasteland Posted February 4, 2005 Share Posted February 4, 2005 I'm using a fan off of an EA82 as a secondary on my '85 Brat. The 3 mounting spots on the fan lined right up with threaded spots on the rad and I just jumped the wires off the stock fan so it comes on with the thermo switch, works great.
