Texas S
Hey Greg, I just replied to your blow off valve question... check out www.xcceleration.com, they seem to be doing more BT related work than anyone else. Let us know what your plans are, and check out the Baja board on www.nasioc.com!
Greg
Texas S, Thank you very much. I was a little confused about what I needed. You are correct, I don't need a blow off valve. I am not running enough boost to need one. The stock valve is fine. I am however ordering a boost controller to increase boost to 15psi. I have seen Excelleation.com and I like their products however their return policy is terrible. Like three days from receiving parts. Since they are located in New Zealand or something I ordered from a place in Los Angelas called Turbo X. They have a 90 day return policy and their boost controllers are aluminum not plastic, so I feel more comfortable with them. Thanks Greg... P.S. I'll let you guys know how it goes with the new boost controller. They are supposed to be real easy to install.
Texas S
Greg; Are we talking about the same place? Xcceleration is in Vermont, and they definitely don't sell shoddy parts! They're Scooby specialists, have been developing parts and putting together packages for quite some time. I HIGHLY recommend them and would say their customer service is fantastic. If you have a problem with their return policy, get in touch with Sam there and he will hook you up. They're the ONLY place I know that is even bothering with the Baja performance issues, so that alone gets my respect.

The company is in Vermont and I like their product line, it is the most extensive I've ever seen. I didn't say they had shoddy parts. Just thst their return policy states any defective part must be called in for a return auth. number within three days of said part being received by customer. Heck, some parts could take two or three days to install and see if the are working the way you want them too. Greg..

Could be a misinterpretation... they may actually mean that it needs to be called in within 3 days if it arrived damaged in shipping. Most parts carry a minimum 30 day warranty... even used junk yard parts do. I would call them about that... seems wrong.

You have to be, other wise you can get stuck with items that aren't what you really wanted. I think I will call and ask. Excelleration seems like a good company and thay have an awsome selection of subby parts. Texas S is a good guy and is a big help. But I was quoting from Excellerations own terms and conditions rules on their website. If you go to order form page you will see read terms and conditions at the top. Click on it and it will read the same. Greg.

Also, they make NO warranties on anything they sell whatsoever not even that it will perform for its "intended use". Seems like a very hard-rump roast company to deal with, but I can see why... they're selling parts that are intended for use by professional drivers for competition vehicles and if someone sticks the stuff in their street car and gets themselves killed they don't want to be held responsible. I think the terms are there to scare away the kids that want to be big and bad. A wise business decision I think
