Ronrich
Just a note to say hello, and thank you for the info i have already gleaned from ulitmatesubaru forum regarding my broken U joint on 90 Loyale. I was extremely pleased to find that rockforddriveline part 430-10 will be the retrofit i need to get my rusty bucket back on the road again. I was really dreading putting out a 1000 bucks for a new driveshaft. But i will end with that because i still have to take the drive shaft off. Who knows i may be back soon for more specific information. Thanks,
Skip
Just a littlw tip. When you remove the driveshaft from the tranny the fluid is going to come out. Be prepared, a rag stuffed in the gap will slow the leak. Welcome aboard and good luck. Most of us buy a driveshaft from a junk yard as they are pretty stout, your location may make that impossile. MilesFox
you can remove the rear half of the driveshaft itself, leave the front end in to plug the tranny. you can drive like this too if you need to get around till you get your part the rear half of the driveshaft is the same for manual and auto, so if you are junkyarding any will do
