Stigs
I'm installing some aftermarket speakers today in my Legacy. I want to put them in the back, but from what I can tell, I have to take off the rear dash/deck to do so. How do I do this without breaking the rear dash? I've looked at all the possibilities so far, but nothing has worked yet. Thanks for any help you can give.
legacy91
In my 91 legacy I needed to pop off the speaker cover right behind the rear seat, the speaker was directly under that.
97subaruGT
It's pretty easy. Remove two bolts for the rear seat, it's by your feet, on the bottom. Pull out the rear seat. Slide up the back rest and unhinge from the two loops on each side. Pull out the speaker cover (could be painful) and you're done.

Brett_j
Dont make the same mistake I did and cut the fabric, just cut the board arround the perforated edges. I now have 2 ugly holes in the fabric where my speakers are.
