WJM
PB blaster seems to work best. WD40 has been detuned massively in the last 2 years.
85Sub4WD
I use good - old 3-in-one for moderately seized, and a combination of that and soaking in liquid wrench for very seized.
northguy
Just used PB Blaster on my O2 sensor - it came right out. But for really stubborn problems, I use Yield. That's some really good stuff.
phishy75
Fluid Film works pretty well too. Costs a mint, but it works great plus its a really good rust inhibitor that doesn't wash away.
All_talk
Kroil is the best I've ever used, works great in conjunction with heating/cooling cycles, but the smell of it smoking off hot parts is NASTY. swervey87gl
I prefer the "breaking the bolt head, drilling, easy out" meathod.
archemitis
its all crap, never works. heat and force!
4WDFrenzy
One word, PB BLASTER(okay it's two, so what?!) This is the best stuff that I have been able to find. The stuff is just awesome! Don't know how else to explain it.
starkiller
not sure if i want to heat and force the screws holding a gas trim ring in

scubasteveo45
Kroil is really good. We use it at the aircraft repair hangar I work at. The stuff is able to break apart 20 year old landing gear fixtures that get 3800 pounds of aircaft slammed down on them at 100 mph thousands of times over. We just let the parts soak in a big trough of the stuff.
starkiller
well, got some pb blaster, still nothing...have sprayed them twice now w/about a 30minute wait time and they wont budge....shall i spray again and let it sit over night before trying again?
calebz
Sitting overnight is good. As someone else said, 'yield' is the stuff.. Good luck getting it though.
mcbrat
those particular screws on the filler trim are a pain, even on a rust free one from TX... I ended up cutting/drilling them out.... I'd spray on the PB Blaster every day for a week, on the top side, and the bottom side after cleaning the snot out of it.....
85Sub4WD
MOUSE MILK!!! Ya know, I think that is what it all boils down to in the end .... I would not want to try to get that stuff - I bet milking the mouse would be harder than yanking the bolt out with your teeth My suggestion would be to drill them out given their location, or get a REALLY good pair of vise-grips, cinch them down REALLY tight, and crank them out. When you can't use heat, use force.
Qman
Get ahold of Edrach. He has some yield and I am sure he would come spray some on there for you. He probably won't give up his can though. As stated earlier, it is expensive and hard to get without a business license. This the stuff that cardboard corragaters use to clean the stream presses and remove stubborn bolts from the equipment. It works better than anything else I have used in 28yrs of wrenching.
MorganM
If PB blaster dont work then I crank the impact wrench upto max PSI on my air compressor and let her rip. If that dont work its time for the torch with the impact wrench. Usually the darn bolt breaks before I get to the torch
edrach
Come by my place and I soak it with Yield. trying to change out my gas filler trim ring as its all rusted to he**, got new trim ring in excellent shape from yard, went to remove mine and none of the 3 screws will budge...what shall i use? wd40? pb blaster? torch? thanx! torxxx
whast the full name of the Yield stuff and who makes it? I can use my business license from work to get a few cans if they sell it in Alaska.. Sounds like great stuff. One idea, take a cold chisel and break the heads off.. take a drill, drill the holes out and just put bigger screws in it. Since its on the fuel system DO NOT HEAT WITH A TORCH (unless you like 3rd degree burns all over your body)
calebz
It works better than anything else I have used in 28yrs of wrenching. But I thought you were only 30:confused: That Yield stuff comes from down here in the land of steers and .. uhh stuff right? hmm.. maybe time to bust out the business license and get busy:D
Skip
Seafoam is some good stuff we all seem to agree they also make "Creep" if they put theur name on it............... I'd also get out the impact driver. The kind you hit with a hammer. Best idea... Go see Ed,. he'll set you up. My bet is he has quite a few tricks up his sleeve. beauregaardhooligan
Sometimes trying to tighten the screw helps loosen the crud so you can back it out.
