Let's talk cooling/airflow (simple + radical solutions)

what about cooling fins on the intake runners(Outside of the runners not in the intake,to much restriction)?It would turn the intake into one big heatsink.The engine engine might run cooler.yea intake temps are supposed to be 120-128.what do you think they are when the motor is 200?My idea might only work on a MPFI intake though...

Should one just plug the coolant line running in to the TB? I don't see any outlet and I'm hoping I won't blow the whole system by plugging it up. How will this effect performance and will a lower degree thermostat throw off the system?

 

You may not be seeing it, but there are definately two hoses from Throttle body to intake. More correctly one to it, and one back. I would not plug it, it may build pressure in a funky way and blow something. You may get Throttle Icing in colder weather as well.

 

Are we talking SPFI? MPFI? TURBO?
