Tin Soldier
I got some new (used) wheel today for the loyale. They are off some old Mazda. The have a 5" backspacing which I hope is not a problem. These are only 14" wheels. I got them because I have some tires already. I think I will drill the wheels just in case they don't work I can switch back to stock wheel without a problem. I will get some pix in a few days when I get my new camera. Gee Corky, Is it possible that theres a clue in there that he knows they aren't 4x140? Perhaps even 6 lug?
Tin Soldier
Gee Corky, Is it possible that theres a clue in there that he knows they aren't 4x140? Perhaps even 6 lug? The clue would be when I said I would drill them out. They are off a mazda truck that had 3200 on the side fender. They are going to need sandblasted and repainted. It will be nice to get real tires on there.
Craven
They will work just fine. Just drill a pair of holes and grind the center hole some to clear 4 little tits on the Subrau hubs and as a bonus the Suby hubcaps will fit them also. I drilled mine by knocking out two studs out of a old Suby brake drum and bolted it to the wheel, then squribed the centers of the holes on the wheel and drilled. TROGDOR!
For anyone else considering this, just be sure your rims from from a 1993-down Mazda. In 1994 they switched to 5-lug.
