Buddy Posted March 3, 2005 Share Posted March 3, 2005 okay this thought has been flying around my brain for sometime. it's if i can lower the suspension on my 85' GL D/R 4WD wagon. i mean i'm putting a body kit later on but if i can lower it it be better.( better for street cruising .) i'm just curious to know. calebz Posted March 3, 2005 Share Posted March 3, 2005 Good place to start is here... Then on to this... And this... End result is this. Sprigs run $50-$100 depending on where you get them. Only real modifications needed are a little grinding on a piece of the front strut.. $.99 for a grinding disc for my angle grinder. A spring compressor is a good thing to have to take the original springs off, but there are other ways to do it. I always use the compressor because they can be rented at autozone for nothing.
