March 7, 200521 yr I have 2 carbs off an EA82 motor and same year(86) and I am wondering which carb will give me the best mileage...one carb is from a 2wdr. and the other is from a 4wdr
March 8, 200521 yr I think that either carb will do the same. You should put the cleanest carb onto the subby and rebuild the dirty one as a spare, when it comes down to it, the cleanest will out preform. That's a good question hopefull someone will have a better answer!

That's actually a very good answer - I got well over 30mpg on a clean carb once (going 75+ on the highway!!!) - the same carb dropped to under 20mpg when it got dirty - so it has everything to do with the cleanness, not really the car it came off of
