Raymud
Hi, I'm new to this site.I'm a certified master technician and have 22 yrs experience including four years exp. at subaru dealers.I own three legacy's and an 88 hatch back. I want to take one of my 2.2 engines and put it into the 97 legacy GT w/ a 2.5. I have a chance to get a good deal on the GT but it has a bad connecting rod bearing .does anyone know if it will bolt in? RAYMUD

I did the same with a 98 outback with a bad engine. Plugged in a 95 2.2. The 95 & 96 are direct plugins. Others will need harness manifold adjustments. lmdew
If you do not buy the car, please send me the info. I have a 99 2.5 that needs a home. Thanks, Lmdew@hotmail.com
tracer46
I'm needing a 2.2 engine (preferably 95 or 96) to do a swap into my 98 2.5 Outback. Anyone got one sitting around? Thanks in advance for any info.
