But I am not sure how big the bed is and need to make sure I can haul what I want in it. I have an Honda ATV 4-wheeler that will need to go in the back. mcbrat Posted March 28, 2005 Share Posted March 28, 2005 I think you'd be hard pressed to fit it in a '81 (Gen1 Brat). possibly a Gen2 (82-87)... for Gen2: bed is 60" long, then add the tailgate (about 15-18" I think... there was a thread on this a ways back...) 37" between wheel wells. around 53" between bed sides (guessing) Gen1 bed is approx. 4" narrower. not sure of length diffs....
