Sunorg18
Does anyone know what is involed in replacing the foglight bulb in a 2000 outback. I called a dealer and they wanted over $100. He said a lot has to be removed. I looked at it any he may be right. Any suggenstions. Thanks
Guest hoamskoold
Yeah, I suggest you do it yourself. I changed mine in 5 minutes, but then again, I have a '98. For all I know, you might have to remove the entire engine block to change the fog light bulb in a '00. ;-) Seriously, it sounds like they're charging you $30 for the bulb and $70 labor on a 5 minute job. tracer46
I was wondering if there is another option for fog lamps on a 1998 Outback than the factory replacements. Has anybody used any other type of lamps (high intensity) in their place. Would there be a problem with electrical incompatability? I don't want to replace the factory lights when there might be a better alternative.
