I fit some fender flares from a 1981 Jetta on to my 81 GL. What you need to do is just find a set that looks like they might fit then try it. I had to do a lot of trimming, but they look good.

Actually yes I am having progress towards a lift. PK Davis finally replied to me and said he could make one up for me end of april. So beginning of may I should have it in. Then I allready got my Sick chrome Yota rims. So all I need are the tires.

I took them off my 1981 Jetta.I'm running 185/70/13 studless winter tires.

Does anyone know what type of fender flairs will fit an 82 Brat. I plan to put 215/75/15 with a 4/3 BYB lift from PK. Just want to finnish the edges after I do the trimming.

unless your getting some wierd offset, you dont need to mess with the fenders much. just gotta trim the bottoms. close to the door, you wont realy have any room to mount a fender flare, since you gotta cut it and pound it almost all the way back to the door to fit that size tire.

mine stick out about one inch, and i have one less inch of backspacing than the pugs...

I plan to do a 6 lug conversion like some others have done. I found a set of Yota wheels that are 15x6 with 3" 3/8 negative back spacing. They are a nice high polished stainless steel that looks like chrome and I got five of them for $15 ea. I realy just want the flairs to give more of a finnished look after any cutting I have to do. I kind of like the rubber ones that Monstaru found from JC Whitney. We will see. I'm still open to other

Ideas.

those are from something like a late eighties yota.......i think i heard that once

Yeah, an 85-89 Toyota. I have a set I was going to put on my Brat, but after getting the tires on and looking at the flares, it's kinda hard to mount them with how much space I have.
