oooooh, I didn't know you were still making these. I'll take one for my 1986 4wd BRAT in black. If you got one. By the way the last one I got from you worked out great and looks good in my hatch.

thanks, earl

I spent 5 minutes tearing apart my stock boot on my 1980 1600 4WD hatch, took a piece of vinyl, traced the pattern, spent a few minutes on my mom's sewing machine, and looks darn good. If I thought someone was making these, I probably wouldn't have spent the time to make one.

very nice! looks a bit better than mine.

I'm gonna have another run of these made... I still need to get some rings from Bill via Ben...., but I have 8 rings on hand already to get started...

what colors would people be wanting...?

I picked up some tan/brown, that is closer to original than the last bunch.... and I got some good blue that will work...

still looking for a suitable gray... I found one that was a good color, but the vinyl was way too thick....

still had some black left over, so production on the black ones has started...

Have you ever done the actual 4wd lever boot?

I've attempted a few take aparts, but the old plastic doesn't fare well when trying to remove it, so just sticking with the shift boots...

I would possibly be interested in a tan one to fit an 86 Brat. What are you planning to charge?

all the details are in post #1. Price varies on if you return a core or not.

The tan you used before was really close but if you found one closer thats great. Figure out a place to meet up, maybe at brents in a few weekends when i drag my derilect (but still good mpg) subaru over to his place.

well, the first style was a lot lighter. the new stuff I found is better quality marine vinyl and is somewhere inbetween the early and later colors...
