lex
Where do I place a floor jack to lift my car onto jack stands? And do the jack stands go where the owner's manual says to place the jack supplied with the car to remove wheels? If so, the floor jack can't go there. I found a picture of a front jacking plate in Ch. 10 of the Haynes manual. This solves the problem for the front. A Sears employee said to put the floor jack under the rear differential to raise the rear. Correct?
camosuba
yep but make sure there are two stands under the front if its aready in air , see my avatar as an example you can put the stands where the front suspension joins the body.
ShawnW
The front jackpoint is right behind the oil pan on the crossmember plate as you found in your manual. The rear I use the rear differential like the Sears guy told you. Shawn
