samo Posted April 16, 2005 Share Posted April 16, 2005 I use a same tire as the the 4 others (185/70/14 Yoko K2 F720), that way I can still run it in 4WD in an emergency situation. GLCraig Posted April 18, 2005 Share Posted April 18, 2005 I'm pretty sure a 185/80/13 will fit the spare tire area and according to the Miata tire size calculator ( http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalcold.html book mark this one) is the same diameter as a 205/60/15. That thing sat at least an inch higher than my 87 with 185/70's though it may have been the struts too. Only one way to find out though... try cramming it in there. May have to be deflated though...
