varying boost

Hi people,

i wonder if any of you can help me???? i have a 93 wrx and it has got a problem with the boost!!! i took it to main dealer and they put it on the computer which found no faults, i then took it to a sports place and they found a restictor in a pipe which went from the boost sensor(i think) its mounted on the suspension strut, when the restrictor was taken out it boosted to 16psi but now it overboosts or it underboosts. anyway changed the boost sensor and it was no different am running out of ideas what it could be need some help..
