chris_d_clark7
I saw an ad for a 1988 Subaru Chaser in the local buy and sell and was just wondering if I should be interested in it. I don't know what it is and was wondering if you guys might. Thanks.
GeneralDisorder
It's just an EA81 hatch, nothing special. Mostly they were in Canada I think. GD
Sweet82
Look in the archives, there is a lot of discussion about what a chaser is and is not. Seems as though there is some disagreement on it. I agree with GD. Seems as though it's just a Canadian Hatch. Glenn, 82 Hatch, transforming...:temper: 01 Forester, jealous....:madder:
Subyaddict
I thought it was an EA81t (as in turbo) hatch. Maybe it's either but in Canada you could get Turbo as an option. Nathan

scopetone
If you think about it, the US was the only place that the EA81'S & EA82'S weren't given names. EA82 was called a Loyale DL or GL and the EA81 hatch's were Chasers in Canada, but the EA81 wagons and sedans weren't named ,kind of an odd marketing decision wasn't it.
