Rebello240zx
Hey there once again. I am having problems with getting a 92 Loyale service manual. The dealer down here says it is not available. I have tried ebay with no luck and have searched the internet to the best of my ability, to no avail. Does anyone know where i can get one or I'm i stuck with alldata or a cd? Or does anyone know of an alternative book that is pretty good? (Tried chilton, awful book, useless in every way. good for mopping up oil spills though.) Is haynes any better? or am i screwed? T Thankx to all once again
Snowman
http://www.finleyweb.net/default.asp?id=142 Follow that link. You will find the FSM (well, the engine section plus some electrical) for an 89 Subaru, which is virtually identical to your loyale. Download, print, and you're good to go. MilesFox
the haynes book "subaru 1600 & 1800" is a decent book, way better than chiltons and has good electrical diagrams. you can find it at autozone and the like, but you may have to order it if its not in stock, for about 15 bucks you can look here too http://www.warpthree.com/milesfox/subaru/subaruframe.htm
85Sub4WD
look on Ebay - they appear every now and then - decent prices too if you contact the persons in charge of this site (official Subaru site) they can direct you in the correct direction, though they do not offer any info online for your car http://techinfo.subaru.com/html/index.jsp
iamtheq
You can also order them from Haynes directly http://www.haynes.com/na101.html#anchor569303 Although it's a bit pricy ($20.95 plus $5 shipping) plus tax if you are in TN or CA.
TahoeFerrari
Check out http://www.books4cars.com. I just found this place while searching for manuals for an old caddy. They list all kinds of Subaru FSMs 1970-2004 - latest I saw for Loyale is 1990, though. I have not bought anything from them yet, so have no idea about the quality. Maybe a bit pricey, but if they're the real deal, might be worth it. Best deal appears to be 89 loyale sec 1,2,3 and sec 4,5,6 manuals - should contain pretty much everything about your '92 as I believe there were few differences.
